Covid-19 Vaccinations

Please note our Covid-19 Vaccinations can only be booked through our online bookings. Our team is unable to give advice or take bookings over the phone. If you want to discuss the suitability of the vaccination for yourself, please book a normal standard consultation with our GP.

We cannot accept walk-in appointments for Covid-19 vaccination appointments at this time.

All vaccinations are bulk billed. If you do not have a valid Medicare or DVA card you will need to seek vaccination from the state vaccination hub.

Who is Eligible?

The Australian Government is releasing the Covid-19 vaccination to priority groups in line with the rollout. If you are not sure if you're eligible, you can check the Vaccine Eligibility Checker. We can only give vaccines to those who are eligible at the time of the appointment. If you are not eligible yet, you will be soon and we recommend you keep looking at the Vaccine Eligibility Checker for updates.

Our Process

Available Vaccines

We have AstraZeneca (18 years +), Pfizer(12 years +), and Pfizer Children (5-11 years) available.

Please note due to low demand we will be finishing our AstraZeneca Vaccinations once we run out of stock. If you cannot see AstraZeneca available for booking it is likely we have booked out and we would recommend you make an appointment or go to a walk-in state-run vaccination clinic.

We will let you know should other brands become available.

Booking

All appointments for Covid-19 vaccinations must be done online through our online bookings page.

When you book your 1st appointment online, you will be given the option to book your 2nd vaccination. Please book both appointments to avoid delays in you getting your second dose. We only have a small allocation of vaccinations so once our appointments are booked we do not have any extra doses of the vaccine to give to you.

A second Pfizer dose should be between 3-6 weeks. If you are booking for AstraZeneca, your second dose should be 8-12 weeks after your first.

Children's (5-11 years) 2nd vaccination is currently recommended at 8 weeks after their first.

From the 31st of January, booster doses are recommended for adults (18+ only) from 3 months. Before this booster doses can be booked for 4 months.

Booster Vaccinations

Booster vaccines are available for those who are 18year + only.

Before the 31st of January booster doses can be given from 4 months. After the 31st of January, the recommendation is from 3 months.

If you want to know if a 3rd dose is appropriate for you, book a standard consult with your GP to discuss your healthcare needs.

Consent Forms

HotDoc will send and prompt you to complete the appropriate consent forms at the time of your booking. We ask that you complete your consent forms at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This will help ensure the smooth running of your appointment and avoid extended waiting times.

You will experience waiting times if you complete your consent form within 24 hours or at the time of your appointment.

Your consent forms are only required before your first Covid vaccination at our clinic.

At Your Appointment

Please arrive at the clinic at your allocated appointment time. Arriving early will not get you your vaccine sooner. We must stick to our social distancing requirements so we may not be able to have you wait within our clinic if you arrive early.

When it is your turn, either our GP or nurse will go over the information in your consent form and answer any questions you may have. If you want to have a more in-depth discussion about your health and the vaccine we ask that you book a normal standard appointment before coming to get your vaccination. This allows both you and your doctor more time to discuss your personal circumstances.

After you have received your vaccine, you will be asked to wait for 15-30 minutes in our post-vaccine waiting room. Once your post-vaccine waiting time is up, you are free to leave our clinic.

After Your Appointment

After you leave our clinic you will receive an email reminding you about your post-vaccine care.

It is very important you have both doses of the vaccine, so please ensure you turn up for both your appointments.

After your vaccinations, your certificate and proof of vaccination will be available on your MyGov Medicare account. Please allow 24 hours for this system to update.

Resources and More Information

If you are looking for more information, the Australian Government has many easy-to-read resources available. Otherwise, book a standard consult with your GP who will be able to answer your questions and provide you relevant information for your personal circumstances.

After your vaccination, you can use the Covid-19 Vaccine Side Effect Checker for more information or report any reactions directly to NPS MedicineWise 1300 134 237.
